i used a punch to knock the front side of the plate out. i had to kinda wiggle it out.

occasionally i have been able to remove objects such as this by wedging towells in the cavity but the flywheel is too smooth

im not sure if this much carbon buildup is normal on the head but its being cleaned up. ive heard if you clean the buildup around the valve seals you will ruin the seal. before i clean the ports ill consult with the dale experts
